Fun Prod Inno Disq N/W Comments

Beat the whole game in less than 2 minutes (even the insane level just by mashing the keys). Would've been *very* nice to have some music in rhythm with the visuals, otherwise most of the entertainment value is lost and it's just a matter of visual coordination.

sound would add lots of fun. nice ddr!

3 3 3

Nice work. The animation of the nucleotide joining the DNA is particularly nice.

2 3 2

Reminds me about rhythm games, just without the rhythm part – the part this game sorely needs. OK 3D graphics, though.

3 3 2

Music is needed!

4 4 3

Reminds me a lot of Dance Dance Revolution. An option to change keys would be nice.

2 4 2

I like the DNA helix graphics.

3 4 2

Fun if not original.

2 4 2

Nice work, productions is really nice, graphics are really awesome. It lacks of music and sounds. The game could have more challenge and fun

2 3 2

I'm afraid DDR really doesn't work without sound. There's a reason they're called rhythm action games.

4 3 4

The end is a very bad taste black joke, indeed.

2 3 2

its alright, but a bit repetetiv. additions like combo-possibility or making it harder by needing to use both hands instead of simply making it faster would have been nice.

2 2 2

Music would have helped in syncing the players' actions to the game.

3 3 2

Liked how the dna parts flew to their positions.. but the game mechanics just isn't as fun
without music. :)

3 3 2

calling the keys "vi keys" and mapping them as in vi is confusing

(DNA-Replicator-1.3-src.zip) I like DDR, but what makes it is the music and rhythm. That said, this was definitely fun to try a few times, trying to beat previous bests.

3 3 3

Well i had fun with this game, can be a little repetitive after a while but there is a geeky component that makes attactive to me

3 3 4

Very well made, but it really need sounds effects and music. The graphics are really cool. Not
very innovative, but it has its twist. :)

3 2 3

Nice DDR(NA)!

3 2 1

The idea of the game is not new.

4 4 4

Great game. I think it needs music and sound effects to make it complete. Thanks!

4 3 3

A finger pump! Nice game, uses 3D and yet isn't heavy and slow. Well tuned difficulty levels. I liked it.

2 2 3

Pretty boring after a minute, nothing new never happens...

2 2 3

The game gets a bit boring after a bit... It is a bit like frets on fire, but without the music and grabbing the keyboard in a cool way (which is most of the point of the game).
The "twisted" theme matches very well, and the rotating DNA effect and matching nucleotides are well represented (however, with the main action going on at the corner of the screen, there is not much chance to look at the rest of the graphics)

2 3 3

A bit Dance Dance Revolution feeling. Nice!

3 2 2

Your host has cancer now, hope you are happy! LOL.

I was humming DDR music as I played this, the idea is novel and the graphics decent, but the replay is kinda low. If there was some way to feed this program files, or set it up to something more learnable like Morse code, then you'd have yourself something that would bring back players.

1 1 1 yes

Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Bus Error
Abort trap

OS X Python 2.4

Pity, it looks cool.

3 4 3

Nice game, but I think it would have been a bit more fun if it had sound and/or music ;)

2 3 4

Extra Innovation score for the idea. Just if it wasn't DDR (but still DNA-based something)..

4 4 4

Love the animation. Desparately needs music, or at least a beat animation. I am suspicious that the timings are not always beat-aligned, making it unnaturally hard on the faster levels.

1 4 3

Nicely implemented as far as it goes, but unfortunately fails to be much fun at all, at least for me.
<p>
All the nice animation of the nucleotides zooming together is largely wasted, because one has to concentrate entirely on the HJKL area.

2 3 3

interesting game, it serves to activate the own reflections
the next time, may be you must add music

3 4 2

Not my kind of game but nice production.

3 3 2

Nice, simple game. Try some music next time! ;-)

2 3 2

Could have used some sound. 3D is cool though.

2 3 4

I never was any good at guitar hero.

I think sound would make the game better, even if it really doesn't make noise when replicating (or does it, just not very loud, but relative to the size. . . )

Bonus points for sticking to the theme so nicely :)

2 1 2

Hard and Insane are impossible, it makes me feel nervous!!

4 2 1

Innovation: it's very like Pump it up: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pump_It_Up

3 4 2

pretty simple but nicely polished. playing rhythm games is really weird without a soundtrack. couldn't get better than 71/80 on insane ;)

4 4 3

Graphics and gameplay are pretty nice but I miss some music or at least some sound. Anyway, it IS
fun. :)

5 4 4

Very good game! I surely liked it and it kept me busy quite a long time - music or some kind of sound would still have been a good option, but nevertheless: Good Work! :)

3 3 2

Decent game, feels a bit too much of a frets on fire clone for high inovation points though :)

4 3 4

"your host has cancer how, hope you're happy"
AHAH That's great!

Actually it's fun to play and to replay,
there's no music to distract you and it's fine.

the game has to be hardened in some way,
"insane" level is still not so hard after all.

3 4 2

Nice look, fun to play, but no real innovation.

Oh and some music/sound could help.
