I felt, though, that the game lacked something more than just running around and catching skulls. I did have fun, but I was kind of hoping there would be something more after I got the nine skulls (though I know time is short). |

2 | 1 | 1 | Fun: It reminded me fondly of my first proof-of-concept mini game for gummworld. The crass name was the clincher. :) The other factors just weren't there. It seems the game was not developed beyond the core mechanics? The skulls ran into "safe zones" and stayed there, preventing me from completing the level, which was reliably frustrating. A couple times I chased around looking for that last skull and never even saw it. In a scroller I generally like to see 8-way key action. In this case it would have helped. Which is to say pressing UP+LEFT would take the avatar diagonally towards the top-left corner. Otherwise, the game performed really well. Hope these comments help! |
