You can win by just rushing to the surface!

4 4 4

Well-rounded and polished. (Um, escape to continue and enter to exit, what the?)

4 3 2

man, what an interface!
Esc button to continue and Enter button to exit? Quite confusing :) - that was innovation! :P

2 3 3

Nice graphics although the gameplay/control is quite dull. why esc to continue and enter to
quit, reversing all intuition on UIs? :)

3 4 2

A pretty basic game. I found it weird that you can actually choose when to end the level, so you can actually skip to whatever level you like by just going up constantly. The graphics are pretty nice and the music fits the mood. The sound effects were a little loud though. Oh, and "Press Esc to continue" is not funny after the first time.

2 4 2

the first couple levels were ok, but there didn't seem to be any kind of a winning scenario and th levels got extremely repetitive. You should have had some kind of requirement like "rescue ten divers before surfacing" and adding some solid obstacles like rocks or seaweed could have differentiated the levels better then just cranking up the difficulty a little bit each level. Using esc to continue and enter to exit was very counterintuitive.

2 2 2

Enter for exit and Esc for start must be the most strange key combinations ever! And then you combine it with making Start to look selected and you have the worst menu system ever! ;)
I suggest that you let someone else test the game before you release it for next pyweek.

(Don't take the above too seriously, just don't use the same thing next pyweek)

The game has nice graphics, nice sounds, and the game itself is nice, except for the win-condition, its very easy to reach the surface on all (at least the first 20 or so) levels.

2 4 2

I missed some goals for the levels. It was enough to reach the surface to get the the next level.

2 3 2

Nice music, good sound effects, neat graphics. The idea is real simple, and passing each level is a bit too easy :)

I hated this came, you can just move the mouse to the surface to win, I won 30+ levels in under a minuite, sorry.

1 2 1

WTF with the keymapping?

3 2 3

err...

3 5 2

I would of liked chain reactions when shooting the mines, also it would of been nice to somehow shoot a torpedo at an angle as sometimes I would get stuck in between lots of sharks.

3 4 3

Needs some improvements, cause if I just go up I can finish level after level.

3 3 2

Simple but nice game. Maybe it would have been better if every level had a goal, like rescuing a number of divers. It feels a bit odd that you can skip levels simply by going up.

3 3 3

it's interesting that you can end the level at just about any time.

2 4 3

'Torpedoes' is spelled incorrectly.

I found it *very* odd that when you start up the game, the Enter key was to exit the game and the Escape key was used to continue / start the game.

Game looks nice, if you pick up many divers at once, the sound effect overlaps and sounds not so nice. Same with torpedoes.

Didn't find it very challenging or fulfilling, as I can just go to the surface of the water to win the level. I made it to level 20 in a matter of seconds.

Cool game! After I read the somewhat meager readme and saw the relatively unimpressive menu screen (that quit me the first time, because I expected that enter would continue rather than quit -- I should have read more carefully), I wasn't expecting much. However, I was very impressed with what you did after that. The first thing to pleasantly surprise me was the quality of the graphics and animation -- they are small, clean, consistent, and visually appealing. In a word, they are excellent. The second thing to impress me was the progression of levels -- it was a nice ramp-up of challenge. The next thing that to impress me was the small touch of surface water explosions that were delayed after the torpedo explosions -- that was just a fantastic piece of polish that really helped to add to the whole experience. It seems like such a small thing, but they just really made me smile and like the game all the more.
Two suggestions for improvement would be:
1) Switch the keys around -- enter should continue, escape should quit
2) Add specific goals to the levels -- make it so that you have to accomplish a specific goal for each level before you just surface and go on to the next level.

2 3 3

Game is very functional, there should be a diver save requirement before allowing the player to get to the next level. Elements work nicely together.

2 2 3

gameplay needs to be improved.
And use "Enter" to continue and ESC to quit!!!!

3 3 2

It would have been a lot better if each level had a certain number of divers that you needed to collect to win. Or a certain number of sharks to kill.

3 3 3

The speed of the sub needs to be limited somehow, but the game was a great concept.

4 4 4

Nice idea and setting... and fun, too.

2 3 3

funny esc/enter thing. some kind of goall/rewards missing.

3 4 2

It's a well produced, somewhat entertaining game. What the game needs is more interesting
level design - now it's pretty repetitive, and there's no real sense of accomplishment. The
agility of the submarine could also be limited a bit. And next time, don't use keyboard
shortcuts in a weird way - it was funny for about half a second, after that it became just a
nuisance.

2 3 3

Graphics and Sounds are nice, Gameplay is a bit addictive. The goal for each level should
rather be some kind of "Save X People" and not "Reach the surface to complete this level" - This
way you could also have included the idea that you need to refill you oxygen supplies during a
level by reaching the surface.

3 3 3

That enter/exit thing had me so confused for ages! Pretty good game though.

3 4 2

Graphics were good, the game play alright, but a little flat.

3 3 4

Hmmmm it looks like a good game, but is it SUPPOSED to switch level each time I come up for air? I think it's strange and a bit of a cheating from me won all levels, woo...
Btw is the esc / enter roles switched on purpose?

3 3 3

Kinda boring after a while, but a good game nonetheless.

3 2 2

strange controls, that starts with the menu (ESC to continue???) and ends with how the ship moves.

2 3 3

Smoothly implemented, although not really my kind of game.

Being able to move your sub at infinite speed is a little implausible.

4 3 3

The graphics were half decent, and the game was reasonably fun to play.

3 5 4

This is actually quite fun, but you should have a goal for each level such as "rescue 10 swimmers". As of now it's just possible to move the mouse upwards to finish each level.

2 3 3

Why does enter quit the game on the menu? I tried 3 times before I noticed esc and enter were switched. Also, why can I beat every level in 1 second by moving the sub to the top of the screen? This game is severely broken, unfortunately, as the graphics are pretty good and there are probably nice effects in there.

2 4 3

Well made, but not my kind of gameplay.

3 4 2

Nice graphics. I don't really understand the concept. As I hit the surface there is a new level no matter how many marines I have saved or sharks I have killed.

2 4 3

Um, all missions are simply going to the surface? Something does not feel right here.

2 3 2

The demo showed a lot more promise. Had a bit of trouble directing my ship, and the ESC and Enter keys seemed backwards.
