Day #1

I was hoping it to be a team entry, but... Anyway, the choice of theme (desapearing act) seams to be a difficult one. Hope I can come to some ideas soon. Some I´ve already had probably would need 3D, which could be hard for 1 week...

Day #2

After a few thoughts, game design is ready.

Game will be:

  • drop a lion or other things into a place below stage
  • segment image in peaces, that will have to cross labirinthic path to reach other place below stage
  • everything must be in place before magic act ends

    Things to do:
    • image segmentation
    • Tetris-like controls > image rotation (PIL?)
    • Labirinth stub
    • Collision
    No time for this:
    • moving camera
    • magic act animation
    • auto-generated (programmed) labirynhth

    Day #4

    Generated a segmented tiger: using SVG, Inkscape and a lot of patience...

    using colorkey magenta (255, 58, 255)

    size (200x200) will probably be an issue, possibly resize to 128 or less

    with time, a routine to do this to any properly designed SVG should improve the game a lot

    Well, that´s it... I think doing this by myself got me out the path. Still, I´m some steps ahead in python programming, although having stumbled on a rotating stone ;)

    The disappearing tiger will be back!
