Starting to look like a game
Data Wipe -- Now in game form
Got the basic game idea down, working on platform layer stuff. Wrote a simple vector class, a simple particle class, a simple particle emitter class, and got my SDL event loop going. Got github repo set up. Particle system seems fast enough at the moment as long as I don't go too crazy.
Uploading at long last
Just under the wire, but I finally got the last touches done on the game. Nothing like procrastination to make a project interesting. It ended up playing a little like flappy bird, but easier. I'm not sure if that's a bad thing for a simple 1-week 2d game.
