Congratulations to have built something in a week!
Well it looks rather unfinished.

It was the beginnings of a cool concept: it was a pretty small house and not heaps to explore, but generally enjoyable: I was expecting something in the basement, but just empty too :) ... I did like the monochrome graphics of the environment: hopefully you can build on this to a fully fledged game :) ?

Issues with pathing when running main.py from Pyweek35 folder on Ubuntu 20.04:
FileNotFoundError: No file 'ObjectsAndBackgrounds/HowToPlay.png' found in working directory '/home/user/Downloads/Phantasma's Dark House Simulator/Pyweek35'.
EXE didn't work either, due to running Linux

Unfortunately not a game. As a result it's not very fun as a game. A horror game for the shadow theme is also a little played out. No music, but there was a main menu. The game crashing upon clicking on the exit door (while intentionally left in) is a bad experience for production too.

As suggestion, don’t add the virtual environment, executable, __pycache__ and others unnecessary files on the final entry, this makes the zip file bigger, and could look suspicious.
For the .exe it is usually added separately.
Try to upload just the necessary, like code, assets and readMe files.
The game looks cool, with a good concept, but it is empty.

Game is unfinished by the authors own admission but I think the potential for something really fun is still there! Everyone loves a good point and click :)

you wrote yourself that this game is minimally playable and it is true. I clicked into all the rooms and then when I clicked on the exit, the game crashed because of index out of range. I'm assuming you didn't have time to finish it. But this game definitely had some potential.

it sucks that this didn't get the time that it deserved, it looked like it was going to be a good game.
Gave points for theme use + that the navigation works well, but can't rate on much else since there's no actual game.
