2 | 2 | 3 | I might have missed out on some part of the game, but it didn't look complete at all, does it have an ending? |
1 | 2 | 2 | A clone of Sim Tower so while that's quite innovative, this game is less so. As the author says, |
2 | 3 | 3 | Very nice for a first timer :) |
2 | 3 | 3 | The simulation is nice. But you should note that inside the game that there is no goal. |
2 | 3 | 2 | there was really no gameplay to speak of. since you can only build rooms and some reception areas. once the whole screen is full of rooms there's nothing to do. |
4 | 2 | 4 | shoud have had more rooms |
2 | 3 | 2 | Screen filled with rooms, income $212.5K, now what... hmmm, time to find another island to ruin, I suppose.:-) |
2 | 2 | 3 | Cool at the start, but got a little boring later in, so... I made a sailboat shaped hotel :P |
2 | 3 | 2 | It was an OK game. I would have liked more things to build, and a goal to reach (it seemed to go on forever?) |
2 | 2 | 1 | Where's the challenge? Just build one reception and then spam the hotel full of rooms, and you're done. The UI could be better (like showing you where you can build), and the intro has some typos too. |
2 | 3 | 3 | Like you said, it lacks game play. Another block-type or two and it could have been a contender... |
1 | 3 | 2 | You should add some levels, with more types of bricks and limits on the type of bricks allowed. |
3 | 3 | 3 | Really neat. It would've been nice if you had time to add more types of rooms. |
3 | 2 | 4 | graphics require polish.. |
1 | 2 | 2 | Once I got my tower started, I didn't see any way to lose. |
2 | 2 | 2 | I have voted on you and even written a comment (you are reading it now), so I hope you will save Betty! |
2 | 3 | 2 | The intro was nice, but the game looks like it suffered as a result of limited time. There wasn't much to do and no challenge. |
2 | 2 | 4 | Neat game! I would have liked to see more of what you could have done with more time to develop a more interesting game mechanic. It was a cool experience, but at the end, I couldn't help feeling sad that I (the millionaire with the chained sun and the island) had ruined everything he had bought by building this massive looming tower that overshadowed the sun chair I had set up on the back beach. Oh well. At least I've got oodles of money, and can buy all the happiness I want. :) |
2 | 3 | 3 | Took a while to realise the building was constrained. A better user interface (highlighting the places you might place things) would help there. There didn't seem to be an end... |
2 | 2 | 1 | I guess it could be pretty cool, but as is, it's not much of a game... not much of a toy either, since there isn't really much you can do. |
1 | 2 | 2 | where is the game? why there is reception? |
2 | 2 | 3 | Sorry betty, needed a bit more. |
1 | 2 | 2 | I never figured out what exactly I was supposed to be doing.. I ended up not being able to build the hotel fast enough to keep up with the revenue coming in. |
2 | 2 | 3 | It's a pity that there isn't much gameplay (yet?).. but please, please keep working on it (restaurants!). :) |
2 | 2 | 2 | Interesting idea, but some more types of rooms/bricks than only reception and apartment would have been nice. As you stated by yourself this game lacks gameplay, but for a one-week indivdual entry the concept and conversion looks ok :) |
1 | 2 | 2 | i built it. they came. money started to pile up. nothing to do but make money. theres no gameplay! |
2 | 1 | 2 | I think it will be a while before this game catches up to simtower or yoot tower. Right now it lacks a lot of features that made those two games great. |
3 | 4 | 4 | Nice game. Takes a while to master the controls though. |
1 | 2 | 3 | Didn't feel like a finished game. Lacked a goal, and wasn't fun. |
2 | 3 | 2 | Nice attempt. The game as is works well, and the mechanics seem to be balanced for what it is. It's pretty boring unfortunately, and as it's mostly a clone it doesn't have much innovation either. I like the chaining the sun part in the intro. Potential > execution. |
1 | 3 | 3 | The whole not being a game thing is a downer. Then again it is your first time. |
1 | 1 | 1 | Hmm, the only type of thing I was able to build at any point was bricks. I really tried. Plus, |
1 | 2 | 2 | Didn't really seem to be anything to do. I built blocks, I put rooms in blocks, I made lots of money. I'm not sure it would have been possible not to. |
1 | 2 | 2 | This can turn into a decent game if more features are added to it. Also, it needs improvements in its responsiveness. |
1 | 3 | 3 | Didn't feel finished. No real gameplay, no challenge. It could probably be nice with a little more work though. :) |
3 | 3 | 2 | Entry works on linux, but what is annoying is that it often stalls for 1-3 seconds. Artwork and story are....interesting. Actually, this is more of an implementation of simtower than a game that is inspired by it. I suppose such ideas must usually be created in the planning stage. |
