I rated fun and innovation on fixed version, and gave you 0 for production to account for the competition entry version being unplayable...

I'm afraid that I didn't really feel the fun with this game, and it felt a lot like a Transport Tycoon clone, so I couldn't mark it highly for fun or for innovation, I'm afraid. It looks like it could be good with a bit more work, though!

Game was kind of boring.

That bug suxxors.. :(

Couldn't play because of case sensitivity of filenames.

besides the game wasn't ready at all in time, it isn't too fun to play - there are many game elements missing.

It's an entertaining and a fast-paced game, though the 10-second bug was a bad mistake. The
game also doesn't seem to be very stable - if I try certain rail networks, it crashes. Overall
it's good entertainment, but just a bit unpolished.

haha neet rail drawing game!

The game doesn't under Linux as the code refers to directories with two different capitalisations.

This game was too confusing and it did'nt have a very interesting game-play.

Interesting idea. I couldn't get it to work, tho. The tooltips helped, but nothing seemed ot want to happen.

I wasn't able to figure out the point of the game, and never managed to last longer than the 7 or seconds on the initial timer. I found it hard to know what tiles I was clicking on, and it was not easy to scroll the viewing area. The tiles were ok looking, not great.

Games like this, where you have a lot of resources to manage in complex ways, ought to have more extensive documentation.

Also, the game had some errors related to case-sensitivity of filenames.

Hmmm; along with the timeout bug, there's a crash bug when making a route from tools to a farm.

Oddly enough, there's a distinct puzzle feel to this game. Consider enhancing this...

Pretty fun, but after I made all the possible connections, there wasn't anything to achieve in the game. It's a pity you didn't get the map generator ready in time.

The lack of instructions included with the Pyweek entry version made it very hard to pick up
this game. However, I tried out the bugfix release, which did have instructions, and I learned
how to play with that. The game looks good and makes good use of a hextile engine, but it's not
very intuitive. I needed the instructions to learn it. I think that it would be better if it gave
more feedback in-game as to (a) what is going on, and (b) why something can't be done. For
example, you can't see when transport routes are active. Messages like "City too small" don't
make any sense to a new player. It is also unclear whether industries require the resources
that they buy (e.g. iron, for the steel mill), or whether they will work without them. For a long
time, I thought I would have to deliver iron and coal to the steel mill before I could have tools
to make food at the farm. Fortunately I was mistaken! I do think it's quite innovative though,
since the authors have reduced the Transport Tycoon game mechanics into simplified
high-speed 90 second version. Which is neat.

This game is pretty similar to Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon. You build some transportation
connections and then you get money with which you build more tracks and get more money. I didn't
notice any maintenance or fuel costs, which means that you get a whole lot of money when you get a
few connections going. There were some bugs that prevented the game from running over 10
seconds, which is partly why I gave a low "production" score. There also weren't any high
scores in the final version and there was only one level. This has later been fixed, but I can't
take it into account anymore. The game is headed to a good direction and I think it can be a very
good game with some further development. Tycoon type games are often very complex, so I think
this game is a fresh breeze of simplicity for the genre.

Neat system, but I don't really understand what is going on.

2 3 3

Looks like it has potential, but doesn't feel quite polished yet.

didn't have much luck figuring out the gameplay myself
