Needed a lot more game play and more interesting back story.

Decent little wave shooter, if a little predictable. Some more variety or
some boss opponents would help.

The enemies are not very challenging because they don't change height.

nice game ;)

needs boos fights and autofire. nice work.

Hahahaha fun background story:)

I like that you have some sense of progression and that your "life" slowly increases. I have some suggestions. I don't like having to click thousands of times. I wish you had made it so that I could shoot by holding down the mouse button, or just shoot all the time, since there's no incentive to not shooting. I got through Wave 30 but I wasn't anywhere near 90%, despite only missing one enemy every 5 waves or something. It's clear that at some point around Wave 15, I wouldn't have won even if I had hit every single one from that point on. It's customary, when it becomes literally impossible to win, to mercifully kill the player and not let them continue playing for another 5-10 minutes.

Solid work, but we've seen this a gazillion times.

Very simple shooter. Solid, but not really polished.

2 2 2

Very simple but not too bad for a first entry :) Since the game involves frantic clicking you should constrain the mouse to the window though. It would have been better with more types of enemies so that you need to do more than just click a lot while moving up and down to win.

I'm a fan of the side-scrolling shooter. It is hard to go wrong in my eyes. :) This is a good one with plenty of untapped potential. It performs well, and I love laying down a barrage of bullets or lasers or antibodies or whatever they are.

One tip: for a mouse button-masher like this, use pygame.event.set_grab to keep the mouse inside the window. You have to be very careful not to allow a deadlock in your loops, though, since breaking out of the window can be a real challenge in Windows.

Had you more time, you need some flash and decoration to boost this thing to the next level of production. And of course, more goodies and baddies and weapon modes for pure unadulterated shooting fun! This is a great Pyggy candidate.

Nice work.

pretty cool

It's alright, just a bit boring.

It is a game.

3 3 3

super hot chick? maybe keep it classy? needs a way to skip intro.

There's a problem with shoot-em-up games with no autofire or rapidfire delay: if you mash the mouse button really fast and waggle the pointer all over the place, nothing can get past you.

Cute, nonetheless.

The game was a bit too generic in gameplay, and the story probably would've been a bit more interesting if it were fleshed out more.

I liked the animations on the virus when it split.

Nice quick game. A bit easy (laying down a wall of fire is a good strategy). Having fire and/or movement rate-limiting may have made for better balance.

I don't like the story and I hardly find a link with the theme. I bet next time you can do better.

"Mutation: In molecular biology and genetics, mutations are changes in *Game Freezes and Crashes* ... I need closure on this anecdote!

Well done!

What an uninspiring shooter. Graphics could have been more polished although it didn't really matter. Is there any other element to this game than moving the mouse up and down and clicking as fast as one can?

2 3 2

I didn't see any mutation, however the end pic is good
