Finally came up with an idea
After mulling over the theme idea, I finally came up with an idea that I both like and can implement solo for this jam! Now, I just need to flesh out the details and come up with the mechanics.
The premise I'm working on is a group of six adventurers that are trying to retrieve the six MacGuffins (I know, so original). The strange attractor is that each adventurer only has a certain number of abilities. You must collect the correct combination of adventurers to retrieve the MacGuffin from the dungeon.

Delays
Well, today has been a challenge. All the time in the morning that I thought I would have got eaten up by RealLifeā¢. That being said, I have been able to make some progress in terms of creating a cohesive framework for my puzzle game. I have a good idea of what it's going to look like and have a solid start in terms of getting it ready for testing. Hopefully by tonight I'll have something working on screen. That would be progress, after all.
Got the party moving
Well, I have been able to make some good progress today: I have the basic party moving around towards a mouse click. They need to have "walking" hops, but that can be addressed at some point.
