Absorbing classic game.

Really liked your explanation of the combo scoring mechanic, but if I hadn't read about it on the Pyweek website I would have had no idea it was there - some visual indicators would have been good. Also, it's pretty hard to rack up combos, since the feathers fall so fast, sometimes they come upwards out of the collision and you pick them up anyway, and the other ducks pick them up if you don't. It would have been really nice to have a visual indicator of which duck was hurt in a collision, and of which of the falling feathers are yours.

Your sound effects are great.

Nice sounds :D

Very good for a first time team!

joust mechanics work well, but that's about all there is to this game.

Sorry, it always crashed for me after a few seconds. Something about PulseAudio unable to create stream. I think it's a problem with AVBin. I'm on Ubuntu. Looked good for the few seconds I could play, though!

Too easy to lose one's duck off the top of the screen

After fixing the Python 2.6 syntax (which I believe to be an unintentional incompatibility rather than a deliberate use of a new feature) I quite enjoyed this game.

More of a goal would be nice. I played five or six waves before I decided that there wasn't anything more to the game.

Rats, didn't work despite lots of attempts to try and fix - sound problems, but looks like errors in physics engine or something, so would crash suddenly
looks like a fun idea and good implementation though

This game was okay. Some nice graphics in there.

nice quack *g* ^^

nice birds.

A great game, but sadly using avbin, a very unstable library...

Waves are all the same?

3 2 2

No, really, mixing normal arguments, keyword arguments and * syntax together is evil.

Cool game. I worked out that the feather in the top left is your health! I went to wave 4 before I gave up playing.

I couldn't get very high, certainly not high enough to get above the ducks, no matter how much z pressing. Is the gravity framerate dependent? I was getting 200fps so maybe there was too much gravity.

Flying and ramming mechanic worked for me. Could have done with some sort of dive-bomb option to speed up play. Only rough edge on the production side was slightly jerky music playback.

Not much meat (in the abstract sense), but what is there works well. Local multiplayer would
have been a great plus! (Add it for Piggy!) Brilliant sound effects!

Duck sounds were great. Why didn't you make levels or something? with a big boss fight after 3. This got a bit boring after 2 minutes.

Would have been better if there was a goal or something that you tried to attain instead of just random freeplay.

4 3 2

Fun despite its simplicity, this one went on a bit too long for me without anything new.

I couldn't play it. It was running at 400+ fps and I couldn't flap fast enough to get off the ground.

The "quacks" and "dings" definitely add to the playing experience! I played until wave 9 when FPS dropped to 18-19 and the game started to hangup. Might be more related to pyglet, though. You may add more variety (differend birds, different backgrounds), but it's a nice little game.

AWESOME! My flap finger was getting a little tired though :)
