For some reason, the audio for the game would keep playing after closing it and I'd have to kill
the process to stop it.

Unplayably slow on my laptop, and my other machines don't have a recent enough OpenGL library
to run the game.

You should mark your source code upload as final so it shows up on the entry index - making it easy
for people to see you've provided the source makes judging easier.

I followed the instructions on the panda3d website for my distro, didnt work. Tried building
the runtime, got it to 80% and errors. USing ubuntu 14.04 LTS Sorry guys

nice try, but it was barely playble and I was not sure where I had to go (no map or compass or other
means to navigate?).

Unfortunately it runs at 2-3fps on my machine and that makes it unplayable :(

One Windows 7 Mouse worked, but keyboard controls didn't.

looks like I can't get anything approaching the GLSL versions you're asking for:

This game may have some potential, but the game just doesn't feel like it's finished yet. Some
bugs like sound problems and even some crashes in the beginning or being unable to unload all
the collected goods were quite a show stopper. Even the graphics weren't good, though to be
fair, it had a nice water effect and the ground terrain at Venice was also quite pleasant to the
eye. Regarding the gameplay, the ship's control felt a bit sluggish, making the turning
quicker would have been better. But, if all this bugs/problems would have been solved and a few
more features getting implemented, I'd definitely play this game again.

The controls in this game really drag this entry down. For instance, pressing two movement
keys at once doesn't seem to work properly, which makes turning the ship a pain. Kudos for
trying a 3D game, though. Those are always difficult to do in a week.
