It's an engine demo, not a game.

2 3 2

Nice colors but it was a bit too slow and not that much fun.

2 2 1

wasnt fun until level 20. no feedback! dont hide exceptions behind messages with less
information, i installed pyopengl and i still had te message "need pyopengl", until i tried a
game that showed me that pyopnegl also needs ctypes!

3 3 3

I like this game, simple and fun. Gets quite insane after level 23. :)

2 2 3

Is this game finished ?

2 2 1

Too simple and slow, and not that twisted either.

1 1 1

maybe with some lsd this would've been great :) (just like 2001 ;-) )

1 3 2

I can't really rate this very highly, but it's pretty impressive for a three-hour effort!

2 3 2

Pretty good for three hours. Tunnel didn't bend a lot, and didn't appear to get tighter, and
didn't appear to go faster, so not much of a challenge. Maybe if you'd had three hours and one
minute. :)

1 1 3

Nice game for a 3 hours session, but the game is boring, need more challenge, and production.

1 3 2

Nice opengl work - not a fun game though. Feels like a screen saver.

1 1 1

Hey 3 hours! I clap him anyway.

2 2 1 yes

Crashed near the start of level 2 with:

2007-09-19 10:48:42.333 python[12946] An uncaught exception was raised
2007-09-19 10:48:42.345 python[12946] *** -[NSLayoutManager glyphRangeForTextContainer:]: given container does not appear in the list of containers for this NSLayoutManager.

Great job for 3 hours but not that much fun to play (matches also to my "game", so don't worry ;) )

3 2 2

For a 3 hour game it was very nice. At the beginning it felt boring, but when the speed increases it gets actually interesting.

1 1 1

too slow

1 3 2

I found this a nice 3d work but kind of not fun sorry guys

1 1 1 yes

Sorry, I tried this with both python 2.4 and 2.5 and it was a no-go. The backtrace I got was:

C:\pyweek\3HourGame>\Python25\python.exe run_game.py

For a three hour entry, I am humbled. This looks quite good, and while it's just a demo, it's quite good. Thank you!

1 2 1

No sound, no intro, very boring...

3 2 2

Haha tigga, you actually made it...Twisty little game, but you should have made it faster as time goes on...

Nice ;)

Error on Line 44 of threeHourGame.py:
TypeError: argument number 3: a 'float' is expected, 'numpy.float32(0.0)' is received

2 2 2

Pretty Minimalistic, I wish there was a speed setting, because the action gets tiring without some kind of throttling control.

2 1 1

First, it's supposed to work on mac, but, can't run it in python 2.4 (the python with pygame in mac (i mean with mac os x)).
Anyway I've run it in linux, no much game. No info. Slow.
I like it's in 3-d, I like the colours, but looks still far to be a game. But it's very good for a 3 hour game, anyway!!

OS X Python 2.4

2 2 2

Not bad for 3 hours :) Played until level 19!

3 1 3

Looks like an interesting demo.

3 2 4

Nice work for 3 hours! Too easy for too long... should have started at level 15. Also I kept wanting the tunnel to change orientation, not just displacement. Also to shoot things :-)

2 2 2

Not bad for three hours..

2 3 2

A bit slow.

1 1 1 yes

Got the following error:

TypeError: argument number 3: a 'float' is expected, 'numpy.float32(0.0)' is received

1 2 2

It only ran at about 4fps on my psyco-less PPC system. It might have been more fun otherwise.

3 2 4

I like the game, but no sounds

1 2 2

Pretty, especially for 3 hours work. But not really any fun.

3 3 2

Considered that you did this in 3 hours it's amazing in my eyes, but it's not that special compared to the "normal" entries..

2 1 2

Never finish? I arrived at level 18 whit TIME: 153.618659106 seconds, but I became bored

2 2 3

Not bad for 3 hours! You can almost let it run without touching the keys at all though. :P

2 3 3

Would be more fun if it was a bit more challenging. . .neet do either go faster, or the tunnel needs to twist more, or both.

1 2 1

Not much to do on this game.

2 2 2

Can't really expect much.

4 2 3

Very nice little game. I just miss some funky music and difficulty could increase a little
faster (or more in the beginning levels) - it became more challenging at level 15 and that seems
a little late to me.

1 2 2

For a 3 hours game, this is exceptional :) As a pyweek game, it can't compete.

4 2 3

Nice one! :)

I made it into level 21 and directly cruised into a wall after about 170 seconds... Pretty good for 3 hours of work :)

1 2 2

nothing exiting at all.

2 3 2

(3HourGame.zip) Similar to many cave flying games, and thereby benefits and suffers from all
their familiar thrills and flaws. One of the best aspects of cave games is that your control is
usually to alter gravity rather than directly move the ribbon. This lacked that. However, the
use of colour to indicate depth was very effective; helpful and for a short while visually
pleasing.

1 2 1

Didn't really have much gameplay, still good for 3 hours work though I guess

how to waste 3 hours of life
