PyOgre/python-ogre support is quite spotty on the linux front, on windows its very nice. If I can get python-ogre to build on linux by the contest, I may use it, it depends on what game inspirations happen. Pure python/pygame are most likely, as the speed of development is unmatched and 2d stuff is funner than 3d most of the time!
But if you need 3d, python-ogre is the best 3d package available, imho.
