Leaderboards
If you ever wanted to integrate leaderboards functionality into your game and were constrained by time.. here is a free service (http://www.scoreoid.net/) which makes it easier.. i found this and have been using it through js and it works pretty well.. and best part is you can use it from python as well :)Do you guys plan to use any leaderboard functionality in your games?.. i think it helps make the games fun to come back and play again.. what do you think?

Looks cool, we added leaderboards to Intestinvaders back in PyWeek 10 and creating the server and RPC stuff was a big hassle.
How many PyWeek entries have included leaderboards?

I generally had local leaderboards but never online thing. I have not seen many pyweek entries which use it im' guessing its' mostly because its' hard to do it in the one weeks time.
I added leader boards to my ld48 game a while back, I don't think it's hard to do so much as in pyweek you spend more time wanting to polish your actual game.

It depends on what sort of game I make, but if the game could possibly benefit from leaderboards this looks like a great tool to implement them. I'll have to learn how to use it before Pyweek though. It looks a little bit like the Kongregate leaderboards, which are very nice.
