It's last update was on on 7-January-2010... I guess it still works, for sure, at least with Python 2.6, but is it dead? I loved when I used it two years ago!
Im not sure, i used it last pyweek and intend to use it again, there appears to be at least some moderately recent dev work done. http://groups.google.com/group/pyglet-commits
It's just pining for the fjords. It works well enough on most systems. The repository is probably preferable to the last release. The Mac 64-bit is a bit dodgy because the port to cocoa isn't quite finished. No-one is actively committing changes at the moment though. There is no project leader.
Well pyglet as of two years ago was working pretty nicely. It was mostly good enough then. There's some compatibility issues that've been worked on since then in the repository, but no new features.
