Progress log, day 1 (I'm late starting :))

18:20 - Prelimary idea, a puzzler involving nine different times in a world, you need to collect all the gems to activate a portal to move on a time.

18:46 - As I was typing out my resources file (basically loads everything), I changed my mind, and decided to do a platformer game. Each level has a portal to the next time point. You have been thrown back to the start of time, and must reach the future again in order to save the world from armageddon or some other such cliche.

18:55 - Basic level loading implemented.

20:55 - Added collision detection...Woohoo!

22:36 - After watching telly for a bit, I got the collision detection to detect what side it collides on.

Overall, progress is good, hopefully I finish the engine tomorrow/two days and have the rest of the week to do content. Because content is good(TM).

Awesome! I considered doing a game set in 9 historical aeons. Make sure you put something unexpected in each era! The dinosaurs could be having a tea party :).
Sounds pretty neat. You might want to have some levels where you have to fight through famous wars, like WW2 or the Trojan War, and change their outcomes.
