Stardust (HTML5)

Hi guys i thought i'd let you know that iv'e ported my pyweek11 entry to the browser. You can now play it using any HTML5 enabled browser. It is just awesome to see stuff work in the browser. Eager to try out the game?.. "LAUNCH GAME" in browser. Hope to see more pyweek games ported to html5.

this looks great and plays identical :)

Also I guess this is a good place to shamelessly advertise my port of pygame to javascript: http://gamejs.nekapuzer.at/

it's still an early port but a lot of stuff works.
Hey, that's really cool. Just for clarity, gizmo_thunder, when you say ported, do you mean you re-wrote it in Javascript, or is there something even cleverer than that going on?
naah.. just re-wrote it.. but we could definitely turn the python scripts to javascripts but the drawing is tricky. So ya.. i did think on those lines but just wrote the code in js.
@simono the gamejs looks really promising. We could probably try and make the April 1st joke on pygame.org a reality?
@gizmo_thunder hehe yeah, it was kind of weird when that joke appeared and i was already 2 month into hacking gamejs ;)
guess what i found as first search result for python to javascript..
http://www.mccarroll.net/py2js/ if it works it could be really easy to port the games..
I know such an automatic-conversion is everyones dream but that won't work for the general case.

It's a lot easier to just write in the language you target ;)
