FIrst Pyweek done.

That was kinda fun - there was just about enough time to get all the artwork drawn between working in the day. Final result plays something between rodland and kickle cubicle, which is pretty awesome, and the final room is hilarious.

A fair deal of time this week was spent getting used to the workflow and learning how to use inkscape to make the graphics, a 12 hour drawing spree between Friday evening through to Saturday morning produced all the artwork, and the rest of Saturday was spent shading graphics, fixing art errors and playtesting the game, overall I learned a lot.

Artwork was hand-drawn and inked on sketch paper, then converted into SVG in inkscape for block colours. Finally ported into PSP5 to shade with the magic wand and airbrush. a 4 frame animation added at the last minute took less than 20 minutes.

Finally, our main character is totally awesome.
