Wowsa...
So I have stayed up way too late (got work in like 6hours) but the game engine is like done - finally. And the pieces are coming together for the scenario - I just hope I have time to make it playable.Good news is I have successfully completed all of my goals for this pyweek:
- Juggle crazy work week with massively intensive Pyweek project
- Implement networking
- implement fully featured mod engine
- keep all code organized, clean and extendable.
The plan for this project was last-minute - I have been the 'leader' of the GalaxyMage Redux group for a couple years now but we hadn't managed a single release, so all of a sudden activity started up on the mailing forums a week before Pyweek, and we all decided to use it as a good springboard to reboot the game.
I am very pleased with how it turned out.
Obviously, it is not a ton like the original GM, but we changed/updated some things and I am pleased to say this is definitely my best Pyweek project ever (not best entry though)
