Dropping

We made the decision to drop earlier today after we decided that we didn't want to rush the game. All of the framework and basic game mechanics work, but there is no real objective to the game other than growth. Rather than spend 6 hours implementing some shoddy enemies and objectives, we made the decision to wait and release the game outside the compo as we didn't really care for the theme anyway :P

Here's a screenshot of how the game looks right now. We'll be releasing it in the next couple of weeks on pygame.org, so keep an eye out if you're interested.
