After some research, I found out that this happens to be an idiom in British and Australian English:
"something that you say when someone asks you a question that you cannot answer about how big something is or how much time something will take."[1]
Just thought I share in case someone else had no idea at all what this theme means, like I did. Now how that is any helpful in finding an idea is a different matter...
