And the means are swordfighting, jumping around and reshaping Uwaki Tower itself!

MimeMan

Norman Boreman, the circus ringmaster, has suddenly and completely gone insane, with what appears to be mad boss disease. He dressed up as a mime, and started unicycling around, on the tightrope. Norman's employees, angered by the lack of pay, are now out to get their boss. Fortunately for Norman, Bob the announcer has taken pity on his mad boss and is using his loudspeaker to help him out.

The Strange Sine Orbs

Sine orbs are strange. They slowly stalk you, waiting for the right time so it can start moving in a sine wave and grab your blue swirly stuff to use against you, and destroy your ship thingies. But don't worry: in this game, you get to control them!

Things From Above

  • things_from_above_RC02.zip — This version contains a few minor bug fixes done after the official deadline. Download this version, if you want to play this game for fun. For judging you should probably use RC01, though.
kid running

The story of a wibbly-wobbly kid, running around.

This is our first pyweek. SpaceBugman is doing the art, macrobe is doing the programming.

Team: macrobe, SpaceBugman

Mr. Wobbly's Great Escape

During an experiment involving nutrient-rich slime and possibly electricity, a small wobbly organism gained sentience. However, the scientist (completely oblivious to our poor Mr. Wobbly) found the experiment's result lacking and promptly flushed the slime down the toilet.

Rather unhappy about being stuck in a dark sewage, Mr. Wobbly has to find a way out.

You are Mr. Wobbly.

Team: ServalKatze, Zahmekoses

    Oscilliscape

In the ancient days, long ago, roughly a forntight...so two weeks I guess, the forest was a peaceful place.

    But not so today!

Today is the time for vengeance and letting bloodless bloodletting sate your bloodlust... Or something. Anyway, the enemy forces probably have a base there.

Honestly, we don't know, and we don't care enough to send more than one ship; that one ship is you!

The inertial stabilizers on your ship are a bit busted, so you may have some trouble maintaining a steady altitude.

    Good Luck Pilot

    Wibbly Waves

Our team is composed by two programmers and one artist and this is our third pyweek (it's slowing becoming a tradition for us).School is taking us a lot of time but we'll come up with something playable anyway. Wibbly Waves, a game about finding objects on a wobbling floor .

    Stratejelly

Solo entry this time. The name of the game is self explanatory. It will be awesome. NB It is most important that you download the patched 'scene.py' file and replace the current one with it. Otherwise, you will be unable to progress past the sixth level.

    Entrant: Strings

    Wobleigh Towers

Professor Wilberforce Wobleigh (known as "Wibbly" to his friends) was well-known for coming up with eccentric ideas, but his latest one -- using gelatin as a construction material -- has to take the cake. Or some kind of dessert, anyway.

"It'll be fine," he said. "I'll just bathe it in mild 1.21GHz microwave radiation to spin-lock the molecules in place. It'll hardly wobble at all..."

    Entrant: gcewing

    Blob Job

Blob Job is a platform game where you have to guide the blob in order to escape from the big gray blob, and get to the rainbow world. This is our first pyweek, our first python game and our first game as a team and we started 30 hours ago, so I'm sure there will be bugs but I hope this little game is enjoyable!

Gelatin men duke it out in a gelatin arena.

NOTE: I am not sure the legality of this, but in a sudden burst of insight I realized what was making the game unplayable. It was a simple fix, so I fixed it, and uploaded.

NOTE2: Just realized that I forgot to use the skellington package. Sorry about that...We learned a lot on our first run.

We are three Australian mate-aroonies trying to make a fantabulous fantastico game. We'll try to fit this in between fighting kangaroos, riding emus and wrestling giant crocs. The game will quite possibly focus on bees. One of us really has some sort of fascination with bee games.

    Enigmatic Temple Room Escape

    • etre_src.zip — Source. Requires the Panda3D SDK (http://www.panda3d.org/download.php?sdk)
    • etre.p3d — Download this if you just want to run the game. Requires the Panda3D Runtime (http://panda3d.org/get) to run.

Malka, a bold little adventurer, has discovered what appears to be an ancient temple that has been rediscovered before. Curious, the child explores the inner chambers ready for anything. Texts written in an understood script and language indicate a room hiding sacred artefacts, which peaks Malka's interest.

The chambers are dark for the most part, but through one narrow hall, a small bright light appears to shine. Malka investigates only to find a dead end. "Huh? But there's light coming through. How...?" Taking one step, the child trips on a stone and tumbles straight into the illuminating rocky wall. Puzzled, Malka arises unharmed on the other side. "Now where am I?"

Help Malka explore the hidden chamber.

To play the game, first download the '.p3d' file available. To run this, you must have the Panda3D Runtime installed. Get it from panda3d.org/get

    Professor When

Professor When once said: "People assume that time is strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of WIBBLY WOBBLY... time-y wimey... stuff.". Fabulous music created by Marloc.

    Team: godfryd, Isameru, elthe

    Soul Shenanigans

You play a wizard who has unfortunately blasted his soul out from his body and out into world that you have to recollect. Be careful, if you lose any of the pieces, your mind will start to go wibbly wobbly until you pass out. We tried to mimic an NES-style 2D platform game. Press F or W to toggle full screen and widescreen respectively. Plug in a USB controller for maximum enjoyment!
