The following points below provide details on how to beat each level of the game, in case there's something you get stuck on. SPOILERS AHEAD! | | | | | V Level 1: Exploration This level is just a run through the basics of navigating and using the harpoon. Level 2: Boulders and Obstacles The rock piles can be pulled away from the doors they block by harpooning on to them and dragging them. You need to move about four of the small boulders by pulling them out of the last passageway before you can push the fifth one along. Note that small boulders and icebergs can be lifted/pulled down. Level 3: Boulder Trapdoor The trick to lifting the boulder blocking the passageway is to place about four to five icebergs under it's right hand side. Icebergs can be found on the ceiling directly above. Once you have about this many under it will either lift itself or you can provide a bit of extra force by pushing up with your sub to get through. Level 4: Mines and Sharks You can remove mines as obstacles by hitting them with a well placed harpoon shot from a safe distance. Sharks can also be killed by harpoon. Mines that can't be reached by harpoon without getting dangerously close can be exploded by dropping boulders on top of them down through the holes in the roof. You can find more boulders on a ledge towards the right hand limit of the map, if you run out. The final mine can be cleared by harpooning onto the base of the mine (the bit that touches the floor). Once you harpoon on, you can swim it out of the way (carefully). Level 5: More Mines and Sharks The main obstacle in this level is the set of mines guarding the passageway towards the exit. You need to lead one of the sharks into the right hand side passage way and trick it into running into a mine. Swim down towards the bottom right of the map and lead one shark with you. Then quickly swim up and off to the far right, taking the outer path (not towards the mine passageway) while the shark will get stuck in the mine passageway (sharks always swim straight at you, regardless of obstacles). Then swim over the top and to the far left. You should be able to get the shark to move through the passageway and run into the lefthand side mine, and the path should then be clear. Level 6: Mysterious Magnet Nothing to do in this level. Just puts the idea of magnets in your head (you will need them later). Level 7: Laser Passageway The first obstacle is a large, heavy boulder blocking a hole in the floor. Pull a mine over to it (by harpooning to the base) and blow the mine up with either a harpoon shot or by dropping a small boulder onto it. It should then explode and break up into small fragments. The second obstacles is a set of floor and ceiling lasers that will destroy your sub if you pass them. You need to use the medium sized boulder in the room above the passageway and the medium sized iceberg in the room just below the start to cover up each laser before you pass (sinking boulder for the floor lasers and floating iceberg for the ceiling lasers). You will first need to drag them into the start of the passageway (this can take a bit of practice, they might fall down the opposite hole). Then progressively move them both through the tunnel blocking each laser until you get to the end. Level 8: Roboshark The roboshark will laser you if you try to pass it and it is indestructible by either harpoon or mines. You will need to use two magnets to try and weigh it down and get it to sink into the hole just after the start of the level (magnets will stick onto the roboshark when it swims too close to them; two magnets make the robotshark too heavy and it will sink to the bottom). You need to get both magnets and place them just off to the right of the hole. Don't let the magnets get too close to one another, as they stick, and also be careful with them near mines (mines are made of metal :) ). Once you have the magnets placed appropriately, go to the roboshark and get him to follow you through the tunnel, towards the hole. If he swims over the hole with two magnets attached to him, then he will sink down the hole and you can safely pass over the top. Follow the passageway to reach the end of the game!
