The beaver has to make a very long way from the charger to the tank.. the idea is good however, just need to put a little more action in the game. Keep going!

Very well implemented game, no bugs, good job!

Pretty graphics and nice idea. Game was too buggy to play for long though: the alt key activates the system menu, which takes away keyboard control; swimming too far to the right meant I could never find the dam again no matter how far I swam (or, if the dam was destroyed, where the nano device was); sometimes I spontaneously reappeared in the top-left corner stuck under a fish and unable to move.

Great idea and very well done!

3 4 3

I liked it. Nicely finished, runs smoothly, simple idea.

4 4 5

Fun game!

4 4 5

Nice graphics. And the pyode and buildout stuff built flawlessly on my ubuntu... It was a lot of
trouble before, so congratulations!

3 3 4

found it a little difficult to climb up onto the top of the dam.

Cute art!

4 3 4

Cool but frustrating. I like the art, and have gained a new dislike for fish and birds!

Got it to install after installing PyODE. Fun game!
However, the game had a number of issues which prevented me from completing a game, though for the bit that I was able to play was quite a bit of fun. I really liked the physics feel of the game, and the creativity of it was quite wonderful. It's too bad that there aren't specific goals -- I don't like games that you can't win, I rather choose to have some impossibly hard task, but one which is theoretically achievable nonetheless. It was quite a bit of fun, but as the game continued to play, it was flooding my console with this message:
ODE Message 2: vector has zero size in dNormalize4() File odemath.cpp Line 129
It caused a slowdown on my system, and made the game pretty sluggish after a while.
Also, when colliding with the woodpeckers, it caused problems because every now and then, it would shove me to the upper-left corner of the screen and I would just stick there -- it was an odd sort of collision. I don't know if you saw the bug, but that was the main one that kept me from properly finishing a complete game.
Still, well done on the game! I love the feel of the physics in the gameplay, and the graphics are cute as well. The game play is engaging, different, and fun. Great job! If the bugs that I ran into were worked out of the system, it would have really helped the overall experience -- I'm sure you could have done more with that if you had more time. Great job for a week though! I'm really impressed, and would be interested in seeing a patched version, since this was one of the more creative games in the contest.
Cheers!

Excellent idea, great graphics. If you extend it, you should make it goal oriented instead of survival, in my opinion.

3 3 3

Cute graphics but playability could need some improvements.
I was up to about 150 wood for a while, and building the dam one wood at a time took ages. Also some indicator of a leak while you are on top of the dam would be nice.

I could not play the game, it wouldn't show me the beaver and would end the game. I did not know
what to move and how to play.

3 4 4

Neat game, nice graphics. I missed having music though.
Learning curve was a little on the steep side, but overall I like it!

2 4 3

I found this game a bit slow gameplay-wise, and it didn't seem to have much scope for skill - there aren't really very many decisions to make.

2 3 3

Pretty interesting idea, but the game gets boring after a while. Also, it seemed like the materials I was using didn't have much effect on whether the critters blew holes in my dam or not. Am I just imagining that?

4 3 5

Fun game, the challenge gets a little difficult near the end, I'd be nice to have some way to remove the water level on the land, by purchasing clouds or something.

I'm baised towards games that can be seen as educational or environmentally friendly, so good stuff.

3 2 3

nice idea. gameplay need to be polished.

4 3 5

this game rocks!

2 3 3

I didn't really get this game, the water effect is pretty good, but the gameplay was boring.

3 3 5

Interesting game idea!

Lovely graphics, novel concept, and a well produced, playable game. Very rounded entry too, had time for a high score table I see ;) Well done!

nice though maybe some more rewarding gameplay would be better

4 3 5

This was pretty fun, though playing a game you know it can't win doesn't make you want to play it that much.

3 3 4

A good idea for incorporating the theme. I liked the graphics.

3 3 5

Interesting idea. I encountered a bug where a leak somehow poped my player outside the level,
and I couldn't more. Definately a unique game.

Sorry, couldn't get it going - couldn't get latest ODE under Ubuntu Feisty. Bootstrap didn't
seem to do anything.

4 2 3

I got 29.480. I thought the game was very creative and well done. One of the better games, by far.
Good job.

3 3 5

The game started to slow down as lots of animals and particle effects came in.

3 2 4

Cool idea, but a bit slow-paced.

4 4 4

Very nice idea! It kept me occupied nearly one hour and those graphics (and the storyline) are just neat! Good work on this one!

3 3 4

fun game already. Could need some more polish on how the beaver moves, this is a little bit tough
to control. graphics are cute. all those numbers and stuff at the bottom don't seem to be
necessary and I actually took away from production because of those small things.

3 4 3

The game offers some entertainment, but grows old quickly and performs poorly at least on my machine. There's a considerable drop in FPS after the dam gets any higher than the starting height. I didn't find the gameplay very good either - the dam building idea is nice, but a more strategic approach would've probably worked better. Like different types of materials that are immune to different species' attacks, or perhaps even recruiting and controlling multiple beavers. The graphics and sounds are quite nice, though.

3 4 3

Interesting idea. After some time it's pretty hard to protect both sides of the dam, but that's not a problem.

3 3 4

Quite a good idea, although the controls and physics need some work. Having to accelerate in order to get over the top of the dam is ludicrous. Why can't I just climb over?
<p>
It would be more fun if the situation wasn't so hopeless. Maybe there should be some way of reducing greenhouse gases and stopping the sea level from rising. Or building underwater habitat domes so it doesn't matter any more. Or something.

4 3 4

Very cool innovative game...Damn those birds, I need a machine gun :)

2 3 4

Not very exiting. Nice idea though.
