Playing this almost made me wish I took high school biology so that I could figure out how to control the damned mutations :)

Wasn't sure what to do

no sound, controls where not that clear

The UI is too confusing. This could have really benefited from a tutorial stage.

Enjoyable little game. The mechanics are simple, but effective, and it's quite
challenging.

I really couldn't get the hang of the gameplay. Maybe a small tutorial (or just a view screenshots with explanations) would help.

An interesting idea, but the mechanics of the game are inadequately explained.

Cool concept and I really like games that directly include the theme. I struggled to get into the game a bit though -- I had to guess about what all the controls did and where new plants would appear and just didn't really feel in control of my plants' Fates.

It's hard to see what the objective is, but I see great potential.

I'm not really clear on how my actions affect the flowers. Therefore, I'm pretty much just clicking at random.

3 3 4

nice game but no sound

2 3 4

I guess this really isn't my kind of game. I couldn't decode the genome behavior

Please, more detailed instructions.

I like your take on the theme! But it doesn't really work as a game. We had equal number of plants pretty much all the time. Then the board filled up and there were no valid moves. Anyway, interesting concept!

2 3 4

Not entirely sure what to do.

Interesting. Room for strategy. Exact relationship between genes and flower colours is a bit mysterious. Time left doesn't seem to be displayed anywhere.

2 3 4

good game, sometimes boring

Idea seemed innovative.
Hard to tell if I was winning or loosing.
Mapping genetics to RGB values is cool.

The idea behind this game combined with the controls makes it very unclear as to the purpose of it. Good job for a 1 day write:)

This was a very interesting mechanic but I felt like you could have explained it better. Maybe a tutorial. I think this could be an interesting puzzle game. The sliding mechanism reminds me of some Rubik's puzzles.

I think it might have been better with 2 nucleotides rather than 3, at least to start with. For one thing some of the colors are too similar, like BBG and BGG. When the sun looked yellow I didn't know what I was supposed to aim for. And the controls could use a bit of work. It felt really sticky. But like I said, interesting idea!

I might have found it more fun if I could figure out what was happening. The DNA tweaker was confusing. No matter what I did it seemed to make no difference. Some tips in game or in the readme might have been sufficient to enlighten me.

nice but hard to control

Nice game, could need more polish. For me the colors sometimes are hard to distinguish but I like the combinatorial aspect of it.
