ideas? egyption mythology/afterlife.

I've just started a new job and i'm going to have very little time this pyweek. My first idea theme is going to be based around Egyptian mythology (access to the afterlife is based on the weight of your soul compared to a feather)

I can't really think of a game around that, but interesting game play might come out of it... you have to be nice to people to keep the weight of your soul low while also staying alive... i'm not sure, no good ideas even for a gameplay style. Bank holiday monday tommorow, hopefully i'll wake up with an interesting idea.

Definitely an interesting idea. Good luck :)
was just reading through the messages when the idea of Egyptian mythology popped into my head and I thought I had finally come up with something good I could use when I make my game on saturday

then I looked a little closer and saw it was your idea...

back to the drawing board :/
Well, the idea of having a game with birds and egyptian mythology is nothing too new at all - there's an Amiga/C64 game named 'Eye of Horus' - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGoNaqbJWiU - i were also thinking on doing a kind of remake of this game somehow, maybe isometric instead, but the idea i were having were too hard to develop in a week

I particularly like the idea of "keeping the weight of your soul low", I think it gives way to a lot of different ideas. I'm looking forward to a game that explores that concept well. So, please make it. :)
oops... sorry... I had no time during the week and I fell severely ill this weekend, so, no game :(
