Finally! A working demo

Wow, it's been a long night and we both have work very soon.

We did so much I hardly know where to start. Secondly we're so tired, we hardly know what we're saying. We. You. Huh? Kaleidoscope.

So, we've laid the groundwork and so it's pretty easy to generate content at this point. In this demo you can jump on Drakko, the first monster in the game, to twist around him and take control of his abilities.

Right now you can't be hurt, and you really don't have anywhere to go, but feel free to explore and have fun! We definitely have a lot more work ahead of us, the game is nowhere near complete, but we wanted to get something out there.

Some of the images are a bit off, and we seem to have some lag issues, but we hope you still find it enjoyable!

Left / Right moves
Space Jumps
Left Ctrl fires
Hold up and down to aim your attack!

Sorry, almost forgot to mention, to run the demo just run 'python engine.py' we haven't integrated things into skellington yet.
I like it a lot, I bet it's going to be a lot of fun when you speed it up and get everything done :)
Nice! can only shoot to the right tough. and jumping + shooting gives interesting lag on the way up but not down.
These are known issues. This really comes because we hacked in some of the "features" (like... mirroring images so you can walk left) at the last minute last night so we could make a release. They'll be fixed before end of pyweek.
I really like this and the graphics are good. I look forward to the final game! When I jump everything slows down (framerate drops) and seems to slow more at the end of the jump than in the beginning.
