This is great! Everything was very polished and smooth from start to finish, and the art is very
good. The way you implemented the elevator with the music and everything was a nice touch.

On the plot: I liked the evolution of suspects and motives. However, I found that the names were
hard to remember at times. Adding a "Lord" to the name helped sometimes, but I was often
wondering who the game was talking about. In addition, the game solved the mystery before I
did, though this is probably because I'm terrible at this. :) To be honest, I didn't even
realize how the crime was committed until the very end! I would say that sometimes less is
better, at least for not so attentive people like me. In addition, if you were to expand this
game, it would be nice to have more physical investigation (such as the note) interspersed
with the talking, because that helps a bit with the pacing and variety. But overall I liked
playing detective and I liked the plot. I just couldn't follow it so well and my participation
as a player felt more passive than active.

Overall this was really fun! Creating a complete adventure game in a week is no small feat.

Whoa this is really neat! The game looks really nice and functions very smoothly. The story is
great, the music fits well, it doesn't really have any weak spots. It does a great job of what it
intends to do. I do have a few critiques though. (Not sure if this will be public if you haven't
played the game, go do that first!) The menu was not very obvious when it first appeared. I
thought it was part of the dialogue. I would have also liked a few more choices to break things up
as I just ended up cycling around everyone to progress. The dialogue runs through somewhat
fast and I often ended up missing it because I got trigger happy with the enter key. Having the
letters spell in (with the option to skip if you keep hitting enter) would help create some
pacing. A back button to go back to text you already read would be nice. There is also an issue
with the dialogue that my girlfriend found. You can talk to Donnie Kibble about the note, even
if you never pick it up. From the start of the game, complete the captain's dialogue, examine
everything in the room, talk to Katarina (Deck) about Buster Baines, then talk to Donnie
(Lounge) about smoking, then talk to Calico (First Class) about smoking twice and Donnie, and
finally talk to Donnie again about Kitty Morgan. This opens up the Note dialogue for him
without previous mention of the note. Great job!

Really great writing. Reminiscent of Agatha Christie to say the least, especially how the
solution is never something you've considered up until that point. I'm glad I payed attention
all the way through. Love the idea of anthropomorphic cats studying anthropology.

The art, music, writing, etc. all worked well together in creating a murder mystery
atmosphere.

Well done! Good production, nice graphics and nice story! I found it very interesting as the
mystery unravelled. I would have liked to see just a little bit more interactivity and puzzle
solving though: could have boosted it to full marks.

nice game, well done, seemed to hang at the end or when quiting (maybe because of sound?), I have
missed the keys to play in the instructions.

Good game overall.

I will study his work to improve myself.

Very nice atmosphere and nice idea. Smooth interface and nice graphics/sounds. But the
dialogue-almost-only mechanics, although a nice variation, reduces a lot the challenge
(circling through the characters will almost finish the game). Also there was a problem of
continuity (it is possible to ask about Kitty Morgan and the note before the note is
discovered)

I played this game all the way through, at times I thought about quitting because it becomes a
little monotonous. However, overall, I could enjoy it.

A delightful little whodunit! I especially enjoyed all the personality given to the
characters. I think maybe the ending could have used a little more detail, perhaps some
outrage from the accused. Also perhaps a little more introspection from Billy on being tasked
with the duties of a constable. It was very interesting to see the different endings, is the one
with the least total Jail time the one you consider to be the "correct" answer? :) Automatic 5
