Incomplete game?

3 3 3

Glad to see you guys back! :) The theme of menace hidden within a cuddly creature is great. Good basic mechanics. A nice menu. The respawn meter is a welcome touch.

I felt that it is too hard to judge how close to let the bad pandas approach. It feels a bit random. A visual cue of some kind would help here. Like perhaps when the bad panda is almost close enough to attack his arms reach out to get you, rarr.

This was a good job. By adding another small idea or two you could easily make your gameplay last longer and more fun. I look forward to your future creations.

Couldn't work it out

All I have to do to win is stand in the right place and press a button every few seconds. Why do the
mutants only move when my back is turned? Needs to be more challenging and have more feedback
when you are hit.

nice try.

Space does not do anything ... ? if I walk past the spawn point they spawn and kill me instantly
what is my objective ?? The art is cool.

Clicking on "Help" does nothing in the game.
The readme file says to move the mouse cursor about the screen, but the only buttons that work are up/left/right. I am not sure what the point is or how to play it. Basically all I can do is walk and jump.

Tried the windows exe since I couldn't get it to run through terminal "python run_game.py" on a MAC

Very simplistic game. Needs more gameplay to go with the idea.

Shiny graphics but not enough to the game to really be fun to play yet (at least for me).

Well, I like the walk animation for the main character, and the background isn't bad, but other than that, there's not much to recommend about this game. Could you have had the mutated pandas come in from the left as well? I think that would have made the gameplay quite a bit more interesting. Also, mutant pandas don't behave like that, any pandologist will tell you that.

It looks good, and has an interesting game mechanic, but it just doesn't last very long. (Oh, and it's easy to crash the help screen)

2 3 3

It seems like just a demo of a game that could have been great with more enemies and more levels.

The panda animation was pretty good.

Doesn't seem to work properly for me. I can't punch the black pandas -- they jump down to the bottom of the screen as soon as I get close to them.

Even though the whole game is a complete waste of time, somehow it looks nice. I think the colors and smooth gradients are just nice.

1 2 1

I held space and the right arrow and won.

2 3 2

trivial to win, because the mutant pandas don't move. Not much there.

2 2 1

maybe needs more gameplay.

1 2 2

Missing goal. Very minor inclusion of theme.

2 3 3

graphics are good but i missed the sound

2 3 2

I liked the little panda character.

Nice job with the graphics. The rectangle collision detection was off, and the 'fun' factor was missing--that's probably the hardest thing to capture for any game. The 'Cute' was definitely there though. :)

2 2 2

The win/lose screens made me cringe. Horrible spelling and grammar isn't cute. :-/

There isn't enough feedback about what's going on in the game. How close to the baddies have to be before I can punch them? There isn't even any visual cue that punching is doing anything. Moving dead baddies to one side of the screen or the other isn't enough of an indication about the outcome of a fight until you've played a few times and managed to successfully punch something.

This really isn't a finished game, and it shows.

I liked the fact the enemy moved only when you turn your back, although I had to read the help to understand what was going on. It was however, unfortunately, kind of contentless and not really polished.
