MinerVGA in space! Digging through the bottom of the screen was a bad idea: made me fall through
the bottom and continue falling forever!

Lovely little game, although it gets a bit repetitive toward the end.

Nice concept and additive gameplay for a single week! :)

Graphics could have been better, but the gameplay, while simple, is quite addictive, and the
time limit creates a real sense of tension.

That was cool fun. I liked the 'retro' look. After a bit my strategy was to collect the resources
ASAP and then get the heck back to the top. I did find the controls a bit tricky and some music
would be a simple improvement, but all in all, good job!

Kudos for random levels. Really impressive. And game is fun. Which is most important thing.

Cool, the controls took a little getting used to but I got the hang of being able to dig and jump at
the same time. The graphics are obviously very primitive but I liked the planet in the
background. The timers were tense and added to the mood of the game. I wish I could have
restarted the level I died on rather than starting over, though....

I think the game needs to be more challenging. Once I was used to the controls it was very easy.

Nice little game, a good first entry. I would have loved to see it fleshed out a bit more.

Simple.

Would have been better if the levels were different. Also I kinda missed all the story because I
was still pressing the mine button.

I actually really liked the game! Very easy and quick game, but nice controls, it was pretty
fun. I just think you could make more of it than just this.

You got some game mechanics there, but not enough to make the game "fun". I was amused the first 2
levels, though. No sound and the graphics are a little bit to basic. I can't give you too many
production points. Congratulations for your first PyWeek!

Funny game maybe too much simple but i enjoyed it for a while.

Well balanced, which makes it fun until it gets repetitive. Production suffered from lack of
audio.

"I really like the idea of this game. The mining for resources against a time limit was nicely
done and seemed very well balanced. I also like the way you integrated the overall Moon theme
into the game. Although the graphics were simple they worked quite well and the animation was
smooth. I also felt like the character controlled very well. Often with these kind of games the
character will get stuck when jumping but this didn't happen. The only negative in the control
for me was that the ""active"" square kept on defaulting to the left hand edge. This felt a bit
awkward and unnecessarily hard. It seems like it would work better keeping the last direction
selected. If this means the player can go too quickly then you could implement a
Minecraft-like fixed number of ""digs"" before you can destroy a block."

Liked this quite a lot. It's has inspired me to get on and make a similar game which I previously
wanted to make. The controls were a little annoying often I'd end up jumping when I wanted to
mine, but good anyway.

Great first entry! Welcome to PyWeek! I'm a sucker for digging games (Mr Driller, Dig Dug,
Minecraft, Terraria...) so I naturally found this enjoyable even if it's very basic. On its
own it would not keep me entertained, but the time pressure and the "story" provide good
motivation. The graphics are likewise simple, but the planet in the background manages to
give a perception of polish. Controls are okay, the highlight on the targeted block is very
welcome.
