3 | 3 | I don't understand :( | |
| 3 | 3 | 4 | Readme file needs more info.
Control would be easier if X and space were one key, a toggle. |
||
2 | 2 | yes | Need instructions. |
2 | 2 | what is the goal? | |
2 | 2 | abstraction and minimalism are great, but even though i can see that the space and X keys do something, i can't figure out how to play the game. no instructions in the README or game entry means i have to assume there's not really a game in here. | |
3 | 2 | I made some effort to try and understand this game, but I really don't get it. I must not be the only one, as it's a quite odd game. I tried to grab all blocks, but that seems impossible (or I'm not skilled enough to do it). Well, at least it entertained me for a while trying to grab all blocks and trying to figure out what to do, but either I failed, or the game seems pointless. Sorry. It has a nice atmosphere, though. | |
3 | 3 | yes | I can't rate this game because I have no idea what is going on. I'm giving you a DNW so that I don't affect the score. |
3 | 3 | Don't quite get the gameplay. More instructions would have been nice. I like how the intro just naturally flows into gameplay. Well done. | |
2 | 4 | I think you have an interesting concept, but the current code only begins to explore it.
||
2 | 2 | If I understood it I might appreciate it better - I am thoroughly confused. | |
3 | 4 | I really like the aesthetic, and the algorithm seems nice, but I don't really think there's much of a game there. Was I missing something? | |
3 | 2 | I'm missing the "game" part. =| | |
2 | 2 | Quite confusing and unexplained. | |
3 | 2 | Hypnotic music... nice flocking... could be something here if there were a slight clue given about what's supposed to be going on... | |
3 | 3 | A leeeeettle bit too postmodern for my tastes. But I was slightly pleased when I figured out what the controls were actually doing. Space: let squares through. X: trap squares. Hold X: drag squares. But that's pretty much it, right? | |
3 | 3 | Sorry, I didn't understand this game at all. So I don't have a clue if it's innovative or well-produced. | |
3 | 4 | Using a boids system is interesting but there doesn't seem to be any gameplay goals so its not quite fun. Nice presentation but without gameplay it seems a bit empty. | |
3 | 4 | Well, it's interesting, but I'm not sure it sounds as a game. Traceback when running the Windows version. | 1 | 1 | 2 | I think it would feel much more organic with true boids! Also they are fun to implement. And I would change controls so that the square is open by default and only closed while space is pressed down. This would simplify and make it more intuitive. | |
3 | 5 | yes | |
2 | 3 | slow. | |
3 | 3 | . | |
3 | 3 | I'm sorry, but I did not understand what exactly was the purpose in/of this game. Also, your readme is nearly non-existant.
