PyWeek - Big Dice Games Presents Woody Tigerbaum's Twisted Marble Factory - feedback

Really slow, not challenging enough. The progression of levels should be improved. The idea needs a little bit more work to make it engaging. Production quite good, though.

The game was complete, but the minimal style didn't wow me as much as your entree from last pyweek. It played fine, but felt tedious vs fun.

4 3 4

Good puzzle game

4 4 3

funny voices, funny style, as always :)

3 4 4

The voices, sound and music really add to the game. The idea is pretty cool.

2 5 2

Good production, but the game was no very fun. Maybe if it was more twists possible per tube...

4 4 4

A good original puzzler, though some details of the gameplay make it a bit troublesome to play. Adding variety via powerups etc. could be nice. (perhaps powerup balls going down the chutes?)

2 3 3

good production, but maybe there were too many sounds teasing on me

3 4 4

Followed theme very well. Easy gameplay, very quick to pick up.

The thing that impressed me the most about this game (which impressed quite a bit) was the two-dimensional system of levels. It impresses me because it's often an afterthought in timed contests like this--most people are happy with one level. The gameplay was superb: fun and challenging. The graphics are nice looking. The rings helped playability a lot. I noted no rough edges. This would be my vote for the winner.

I like the production of this game, It's very innovative. The only thing left is more fun, the game gets boring an repetitive after a while.

2 4 4

Amusing plot and graphics and sounds are done well. So it's definitely very good on the production end. I just didn't have fun playing it.

1 3 4

I found it some like boring..

4 3 3

Quite fun, if a little slow. It sometimes feels quite arbitrary where you can twist the tubes. The graphics were simple and functional, but a bit plain. Love the music.

2 3 2

nice little game

2 3 4

THE default VOICE IS HORRIBLE. i find the idea very original, production is solid too. there is some strangeness when pressing ESC during gameplay and then trying to get back to the game.

besides from that a solid, but a bit slow game. maybe speeding up the marbles via space-key or smth would have been nice.

3 3 3

Cool, didn't really fit me though.

3 4 4

the voices tend to get on your nerves

4 4 4

Not much to comment, very clean design very fun game

4 5 3

Excellent effort. Thanks!

4 4 5

Very fun and innovative game! I love it!

4 3 4

Very good game, worthy of Woody Tigerbaum.

3 4 4

The idea was really interesting. The graphics and voices add a lot (the music gets a bit dull quickly). The pace of the game didn't end up being completely challenging, but it is a very nice entry

2 3 3

Well made game - just not the type of game I enjoy a lot.

3 4 2

I actually didn't had as much fun with this game as the package delivery game you made last
time.. But I guess its hard to match it.

3 3 4

Another fine production from Big Dice studios...

3 4 4

Really good idea, nice production. Enjoyed playing.

5 4 3

Easy to get into, hard to beat. Actually fun! Great music with some great vocal samples too.

Game has to stop giving you marble colours you don't need. Also, it feels like it needs more interconnects on the screen to divert marbles over longer distances. Still, really cool.

2 3 4

nice and twisted idea! too bas it's not too fun..

4 4 5

Original game idea -- I was actually expecting to get to set up a complex set of twists and then watch it work, rather than have to continually dismantle and recreate twists for specific balls. Gets tedious waiting for the right colour to appear when there's little else to do.

2 3 4

Nice puzzle game. Really works with the theme!

3 3 4

Very cool.

4 4 4

Nicely produced, and quite fun!

3 3 3

Very nice

3 4 4

I find the colorblind switch to be a touch of style.

5 5 4

Awesome game but the concept feels familiar for some reason.

It's a great game. The most fun at the moment.

works

4 4 4

What a great game. The story of the game pervades the experience and makes the simple game make sense. What a fun concept, good ties to the theme!

3 4 3

simple concept but fun enough to play through all the way, nice execution, livened up well by the flavour text and sound clips. a scoring system of some kind would have been nice for the sake of replayability

3 3 4

Gameplay got a bit samey fairly quickly. Quite a generic ball falling into box game, though has
a bit more tacked on. I like the pipe graphics, but I'm not too keen on other things. The voices
are cool (if a bit distorted sometimes), and the music is funky.

4 4 3

I'm too lame to win but it's fun..

3 5 4

It was fun to play, but it seems the pace and stress is to much for me in the higher levels, so I just have to give up (not the kind of games I'm good at XD) - I like your idea for colour blind users - good work with that!

2 4 4

Pretty well polished, didn't like that some times it was impossible to get a marble across the all the tubes to it's crate due to limitations in the game.

2 4 2

Average puzzle, a bit too easy
even on the last level.
First levels are super boring.

3 4 4

I like the graphics and the overall "polished" look.
The fact that it's always challenging and the background "story" adds up to an interesting game.
