Censorship?

Am I allowed to incorporate just about anything into a game or is there some form of implicit rule against certain things?

What about cannibalism for instance? I'm not talking about a game that's all about cannibalism, but that includes it and let's the player take part in it without making it a central aspect or includes all too vivid depictions of it.

I can assure you, it really DOES have with the theme to do this time around (the main character will not be named "caught").

I don't think you're prohibited, but you take your chances with the votes from anyone who finds the game distasteful.

Are there any countries with laws against depictions of cannibalism?
And, conversely, does anyone live in a country where fine young cannibals are legal and respectable?
Well, no, that's the whole point, they aren't supposed to be respectable that's why I am thinking of including it in my game as an optional feature (it's not supposed to be  an "eat at least 20 of your neighbors before the cops arrive!" kind of thing).
I'd say go for it. As I recall, the game that made me laugh the most of recent PyWeeks was the Murder of Crows game, which involved the dismemberment of fleeing innocents. Tastefully, obviousment.
